Certification

Our manufacturers have been awarded the following certifications:

Social Accountability 8000 Standard (SA-80000). This standard is a widely recognised global standard for managing human rights in the workplace and ensures that workers are getting a fair deal. The company must comply with strict criteria such as no child labour, living wages paid to all workers, maximum 48-hour working week and regular employment provided.

FLO-CERT certification ensures that producers and traders comply with the FLO International Fairtrade Standards. It ensures that traders pay the Fairtrade Premium to producers.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified by the Control Union. For a factory to be awarded this certification all areas of the supply chain from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling must be examined and meet strict criteria.

Even though bamboo fabric itself (and our clothing) is not certified organic, the GOTS standard does allow bamboo viscose to be used in certified organic clothing (up to 10%).

Oeko-Tex - Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an international testing and certification system for textiles, limiting the use of certain chemicals. Our bamboo viscose fibre is Oeko-Tex certified.
