Sophie and I are sisters who started Bamboo Baby to bring bamboo clothing to the UK childrenswear market. We were only 22 and 25 when we started the company back in 2006 and didn't have much experience at running a business but we had discovered bamboo and were in love with it (once you've felt our bamboo fabric you'll understand why!)
Our aim was to create a unique and contemporary brand of baby and children’s clothes, which would reduce the negative impact that conventionally grown cotton has on the environment. We love to feel that we are 'doing our bit' to help make our world a greener place.
Sophie's the clever one who does all the designing (she studied fashion design at university) and managed to convince me back in 2006 that starting an organic baby clothing brand was a great idea!
We like to think of our fashion led collections as 'capsule collections for children'. Each piece of a collection mixes and matches well with other items and can create several different looks. We offer a wide range of high-quality baby clothes and children’s clothes for ages 0-7 years in many gorgeous colours and styles and our ranges include denim, knitwear, tops, shirts, blouses, blankets and sleepwear.
